Today (3 March 2018) the Conservative Party Chairman Brandon Lewis unveiled the Party’s Respect Pledge. The pledge will apply to all Conservative candidates standing in the local elections this year, ensuring they behave responsibly throughout the election.

The Journey to Establish a Local Modern Slavery Partnership in Hertfordshire

The Government estimates that there are between 10,000 and 13,000 victims of modern slavery across the UK, but as this is a hidden crime, it is likely that the numbers are far greater. Of the 119 potential modern slavery victims that have been identified in Hertfordshire since 2009, 58 were women, 32 were men, 17 were boys and 12 were girls.

Councillor Gary Silver Supports Goods for Good

Goods for Good is a local charity based in Borehamwood. Founded in 2014, it has in just over three years delivered over £12 million worth of goods to 12 countries, reaching over 1.2 million people, including refugees and typhoon survivors.
